One sophomore won 2012 Americans Promoting Study Abroad (APSA) scholarship.
As oneof the eight "China Scholars" from Boston Public Schools. He will study in
Beijing for 6 weeks.


Important dates:
February 9, Thursday 2:30-3:30pm: workshop* (1) topics: What’s next? (done)

March 8, Thursday 5:50-6:50pm at Room G12: Parents and students information meeting, a non-refundable payment of $400 is due at this meeting, check or cash. Special arrangement of payments can be discussed.(done)

March 12, Monday 2:30-3:30pm: workshop (2) culture values and differences (done)
March 26, Monday 2:30-3:30pm: workshop (3) team building and teaching English in China (done)

April 23, Monday 2:30-3:30pm: workshop (4) logistics of the trip; what to bring and other departure issues (done)
May 14, Monday 2:30-3:30pm: workshop (5) Chinese culture and culture shock and (done)
June 4, Monday 2:30-3:30pm: workshop (6) survival Chinese and post-trip presentations (done)

June 15, Friday 9:00-11:00am Field trip to Logan Airport by subway (7) (done)

June 20, Wednesday at 6:15am departure day: meet at Terminal C United Airlines counter at Logan Airport for departure
